Ducts Unlimited is a growing full-service mechanical contractor seeking Commercial HVAC Installer Apprentices with 2+ years of experience to join our team. Work includes new construction, tenant finish, and industrial projects with opportunities to learn from experienced journeymen and advance your career.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC or sheet metal experience.
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the trade.
- Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and jobsite safety.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic layout tasks.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist Journeyman Sheet Metal Workers with fabrication and installation of HVAC systems.
- Load, transport, and stage materials, tools, and equipment on jobsites.
- Help install ductwork and sheet metal assemblies.
- Set up and assist with fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, presses, etc.)
- Measure, cut, and prep materials under supervision.
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation.
- Perform basic finishing work (grinding, smoothing seams, etc.)
